Recollections and reflections
It has been quite awhile since I last posted, for the regular readers (if there are any), I do apologise for the huge time gap in between to catch up on my updated posts!
It's March already, and it has been quite a fruitful one so far.
Basketball session with some of the class guys
Started off the holiday with a much needed sports session, where I finally learned how to properly aim and shoot a basketball. I havn't been much of a sports person other than running, therefore it has been quite an enriching experience, still have much more to improve on though!
Also managed to hang out at the treetop walk with my uncle, finishing the 8km hike in 3.5 hours at the Sime Road exit. Do hope to include a few runs in before School reopens so that Im able to pick up on my stamina and endurance again.

Managed to land an events job with an acquaintance this time, and I would say it was an eye-opening experience. Not that I haven't done events based jobs before, but the approach to making some decisions is different as compared. Did made a lot of new friends which we hopefully will see in the next event if possible! Still remembered the day we first met and settled down in our own comfort zone groups to getting to know each other better as one, to how we went through some trouble together and how some of us got hung on the slogan, “小毛病,大问题,老李、小李,关心你!” during the event.
It's just the start of the holidays, but I already feel that so much more can be done. I already have more jobs on hand, but even so, I still have quite a number of days to linger around and rejuvenate myself for a new round of school, or a new stage of poly life where people start grabbing mates to form their dream project teams.
Enough of school work for now, as I don't want to ruin my holiday mood for now! Will settle this once the 22nd of March is over. That will determine whether I'm finally going to be assertive in my decision making.
Just waiting for April to arrive, where I'll
have a final round of catching up to do with one of my closest.. I don't know what to call her here, so let's just stop it at there.
Meanwhile, I also realised that there are many people around who share their own viewpoints and thoughts on their personal matters and I do think that it is a good way to share, or vent off in some cases.
Like what I tell people around me, I can be a listening ear to your problems, but I am always fine when you offer me yours in return. It is probably that instinct of mine since young that I rarely share things about my family members or anything deemed too personal to my friends, as I believe that I need to have my own privacy and comfort zone to retreat to as well. If everything is exposed, well there wouldn't be a one and only Ryan zibin right? :|
If you happen to be an SP student reader, do say hi the next time we meet or come across one another! The door is always open to be friends and have more views of the world outside. Even if we don't have a chance to have anything in common, at least we earn a new "hi - bye friend" which can progress from there. Those who have my number or social media accounts, you are certainly welcomed to drop your thoughts and views.
Alright, hope that this good trend will carry on, as I really would like this current trend of work-life balance ( even if it's more of the life than balance for now :p)
